What is Phantasy?
- Phantasy is an NFL research app. Compare player props and sportsbook prices, review game logs and matchups, and track recorded picks and results.
What can I research?
- You can move from schedules and matchups into game logs, player trends, historical distributions, injuries, odds comparisons, line movement, model projections, evidence-linked research memos, and saved games or players. A field that cannot be supported by current data is shown as unavailable with the reason.
Which sports are supported?
- Current coverage focuses on the NFL. Other leagues stay hidden until their data coverage, reliability, and usage rights meet the same standard.
Where does the data come from?
- NFL performance data includes attributed data sets published by the nflverse project (opens in a new tab) under CC BY 4.0 (opens in a new tab). Market prices and some roster or injury fields come from configured third-party data providers when those feeds are active. Phantasy records source and freshness information so a result can be traced to its origin. Third-party player photography and team marks are not displayed unless separate display rights are documented; the product uses neutral fallbacks otherwise.
How do the models work?
- Models use supported performance and market data to estimate probabilities for specific outcomes. Each output names its model version and evidence, and an experimental model remains labeled experimental until its validation status changes. A projection is an estimate, not a guarantee.
How are model results tracked?
- Phantasy timestamps model outputs before an event begins, preserves the original output, and grades it after the result is known. The model history shows the full settled record, every result included. Where the sample supports it, evaluation adds calibration, drawdown, return by slice, and closing-price comparisons with sample sizes.
What are odds and market analytics?
- They are research tools for comparing available sportsbook prices, seeing consensus, following movement, and understanding where books disagree. Prices can move or arrive late, so every market view includes freshness and source context. No market price or model difference guarantees an outcome.
Does Phantasy accept wagers?
- No. Phantasy is not a sportsbook. It does not accept wagers, hold wagering funds, set betting limits, or pay winnings.
Are Founder Picks betting advice?
- No. Founder Picks shows my published picks and which ones I personally play. It is general information, not personalized advice. No outcome is guaranteed, and any decision to wager is yours.
What is included in each plan?
- Every plan includes NFL research tools and settled model history. Pro adds recorded stake-sizing context, full model dossiers, and grounded research memos. Analyst adds model evaluation, calibration, drawdown, sample-size views, and closing-price comparisons. How do I cancel?
- From Account, choose Manage billing. Stripe shows when cancellation takes effect before you confirm. There is no minimum term or cancellation fee, and canceling stops future renewals after the effective date. It does not automatically refund a completed charge.
